Fabric raises US$4m to boost AR fan interaction platform

Geospatial web platform Fabric announced it has raised US$4 million, including investment from Sapir Venture Partners, that it says will improve and expand its offering. Fabric transforms in-person events and experiences by delivering immersive real-time social, gaming, blockchain, and augmented reality (AR) experiences.

Athletes Unlimited raises US$30m in funding round including Kevin Durant

Athletes Unlimited, the network of professional women’s sports leagues, has raised US$30 million in a new funding round that included investment from Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman’s 35 Ventures. The round was led by Schusterman Family Investments and also included Earlystone management’s Jane Gottesman, film producer Sharon Harel-Cohen, Philadelphia 76ers owner David Blitzer, and more!

Esports startup – Gamurs – has raised $12 million USD from renowned US sports tech investors

Only eight years after launching, Riad Chikhani’s esports and gaming media start-up Gamurs has grown its reach to 55 million people monthly and banked $US12 million ($18.5 million) from renowned US sports tech investors.

U.S. gaming company Zynga, a wholly-owned publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, announced on Monday that it has completed the acquisition of Storemaven, an Israeli company developing mobile growth and App Store Optimization (ASO) technologies.
