NBA Enters the world of Investment

The NBA’s equity portfolio is now approaching nearly 20 companies, with the total value of those stakes worth nearly $1 billion. While the league has been investing in companies for about a decade, roughly half of those deals have come over the last year.

City Insiders believe Premier League club is worth $5bn

Fenway Sports Group bought Liverpool in 2010 in a £300m takeover; the owners are believed to be considering a sale although they would prefer to attract new investors; an FSG statement read: “FSG remains fully committed to the success of Liverpool, both on and off the pitch”

Tyson Fury enters NFTs Blockchain ring

Sports-focused Web 3.0 firm Eterlast has raised €4.5 million (US$4.6 million) in seed funding to continue the development of blockchain-based technologies, including non-fungible tokens (NFTs), games, and immersive experiences.

Van Dijk Enters into wearable performance investment

Performance technology company WHOOP has announced Liverpool FC defender Virgil van Dijk as its newest investor and a global brand ambassador.
