Sportlight, a startup that provides player-tracking insights for majority of the Premier League clubs, has secured $4.75 million in funding led by Sport Republic, Southampton FC owner Dragan Šolak, Bolt Ventures, and the former chief financial officer at City Football Group, Andy Young.

Australian sports betting company, Cipher Sports Technology Group, has raised $5 million in a Series A round led by Cygnet Capital, an investment group based in Melbourne.
