Hiro Capital invests $9M in English Running Data Startup
A Series A investment round run by Hiro Capital, triggered the synapses to get smart insoles developer, NURVV Run, to reach a net of $9M (yes, you read that correctly) raised in funding. Launched at CES 2020, the next-gen company created the sensor-packed wearable tech on the thought process of measuring running metrics from the body part which actually tells the story: the foot.

Hiro Capital, UK-based investment fund led by Fantasy author Ian Livingstone, made its fourth and biggest investment, pouring $9M to smart insoles developer, NURVV Run. Indian emerging sportstech ecosystem receives another boost
Thai investment house, Indochine International Co. Ltd. has dropped a cool $500K into Dehli-based Khel Now, a sports-focused, mobile-based social networking platform linking sports fans and businesses through location-specific content and social networking. To maximize their network and services in Southeast Asian countries, Kehl Now plans to branch out their repertoire of sports categories from just football to basketball and even Muy Thai.
Esports startup Juked raises $800k from industry veterans
Juked, a Cali-based esports startup, closed a successful pre-seed funding round of $800K led by the 500 Startups accelerator, with executives from Blizzard Esports, MyFitnessPal and other esports and sports tech entrepreneurs joining the round. Initially, the platform aggregated streams and provided an easy event look-ahead for fans. Now, with plans to be the one-stop-shop for esports, the Juked team plans to use the money to broaden their services to include everything from team portals to monetization initiatives to make the ultimate win-win for parties on both sides of the controller.
