Minute Media raises $40m for its user-generated sports publishing platform

Led by London’s Dawn Capital, New York-based Minute Media have raised $40 million – specifically to continue investing in its user-generated syndication-based publishing platform. Along with participation from other unnamed previous investors, the funding brings the total raised by Minute Media to $160 million.

Mustard raise $1.7 million in bid to improve AI’s athletic mechanics

Led by Shasta Ventures and Intersect VC, Mustard announced this week that it has raised $1.7 million. The raised capital is expected to be used to improve the app’s atheltic mechanics with AI.

Sleeper aiming to rival industry giants after latest funding round

Fantasy football startup Sleeper are ready to take on rivals such as ESPN, having raised more than $7 million from VCs to date. The funding has been used to build out its team, as well as expand their ambitions beyond fantasy football alone.

ImagineAR picked by two leading Motorsports Organizations

Vancouver-based ImagineAR, an augmented reality startup, was picked by Automotive Industries and AirSpeeder during the Hype Sports Innovation Second Draft Day. The Motorsport brands will now collaborate with the team at ImagineAR to solve their own challenges around innovation.
