The hackathon is open to all students and fans of data and Winter Sports, the teams will have 36 hours to extract from sensors data and video sequences useful information, metrics, and comparisons in order to improve/innovate fan engagement systems.
The data will be related to the climax race of the "FIS Alpine Skiing Men’s Downhill World Cup" season which took place on the famous Streif last January 24 in Kitzbühel, Austria
To participate teams will be able to register from the 8th of April to the 21st of May. A team can be formed from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 4 people.

It doesn't matter if you are an engineer, a student, or a startup founder, a good team needs all kinds of "players" and ideas so join the event. During the event, there will be 4 keynotes held by partners and special guests from across the winter sports industry.
The hackathon will take place thanks to a specific digital communication platform “LIFE SIZE” developed from “Trentino Digitale SpA” which will allow all teams to communicate with each other, receive information from the organizers, attend plenary conferences and keynotes.
Prizes and Rewards
The winning team will have the opportunity to attend the "behind the scenes" at an important event of the next winter sports season by getting in touch with the technicians of both partners of the hackathon.
